Welcome to our campsite in beautiful Wechselland! We are Irene and Werner Feldhofer and our two boys are called Lorenz and Clemens. Irene’s parents Josefa and Peter also live on our farm, as well as a couple of cats that occasionally pass through the campsite.
In 2015, we took over the part-time business from Irene’s parents and at that time we were already traveling as campers from time to time. At that time, we also began to look more and more at what was on offer in our area and realized that there was no campsite around the Hochwechsel. A few years had to pass before we continued to work on our idea in 2022 and came to the decision to build our own campsite in our beautiful region.
In 2023, we opened our small, modern campsite – a place where nature and hospitality take center stage. Our aim is to offer you a peaceful and relaxing break away from mass tourism. A special highlight of our campsite is the fantastic view, which will enchant you every day anew. Whether you’re enjoying the first rays of sunshine in the morning or admiring the starry sky at night, our campsite offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments.
We attach great importance to personal contact with our guests and want you to experience an uncomplicated vacation and feel at home with us. In the middle of the picturesque landscape of the Wechselland, you can leave everyday life behind you, unwind and enjoy the benefits of the region.
A special highlight is our farm-gate delicatessen right on the square, which provides you with regional delicacies. Whether fresh bread, homemade specialties or seasonal products – the taste of the region comes straight to your plate here.
